Simple recipe gives adult cells embryonic powers

Article Abstract:

Researchers, through simple methods, have developed a chemical combination that enables adult mouse cells to behave like embryonic stem cells. The reprogrammed cells in mice, known as 'embryonic-stem-cell-like cells', express some of the key genes of the embryonic stem cells and perform their functions, thus raising hopes for use in research and medicine without facing the ethical issue of involving a human embryo.
