Article Abstract:

A general method, which is based on a quantum-mechanical phenomenon known as exchange symmetry, is described thus allowing the degree of precision manipulation in controlled collisions of neutral atoms. This method might be a huge step towards practical quantum computations, such as coupled electron spins in a solid-state double quantum dot.

The mental universe

Article Abstract:

The 1925 discovery of quantum mechanics solved the problem concerning the nature of the Universe nature and physicists were again led to believe that mind place an important role in the Universe. The one benefit of switching humanity to a correct perception of the world is the resulting joy of discovering the mental nature of the Universe.

A photonic quantum information interface

Article Abstract:

A demonstration of qubit transfer between photons of wavelength 1,310 nm and 710 nm is presented. The mechanism is a nonlinear up-conversion process, with a success probability of greater than 5 percent.
