Nodal antagonists regulate formation of the anteroposterior axis of the mouse embryo
Article Abstract:
For the normal migration of the distal visceral endoderm (DVE), nodal signaling and the regionalization of its antagonists, is required. However the first overt manifestation of the body plan in the mouse, is the foundation of the anteroposterior (A-P) axis.

Functional genetic analysis of mouse chromosome 11
Article Abstract:
Biologists need systematic approaches to determine the function of each gene now that the mouse and human genome sequences are complete. Determining the consequence of mutations in living organisms is a powerful way to discover gene function.

Mismatch repair genes identified using genetic screens in Blm-deficient embryonic stem cells
Article Abstract:
Phenotype-driven recessive genetic screens in diploid organisms require a strategy to render the mutation homozygous. The combination of insertional mutagenesis in Blm-deficient cells establishes a new approach for these genetic screens.
