Article Abstract:

The founding by a group of fisherman of a sea turtle refuge on the Pacific side of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico is discussed. Topics include Mexico's 1990 outlawing of sea turtle killing, the illegal killing that continues, and fishermen's hope that the refuge will protect sea turtles for generations to come.

The features and appearance of the golden lion tamarins found in the Brazil's Atlantic forest are presented. They are fiery orange in color, leonine manes frame their tiny faces and black dye markings on the hair differentiate them from other animals, that are included in the same category.
