Article Abstract:
NASA's Willkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe has recently given cosmologists stunningly detailed data on the temperature fluctuations in the cosmic microwave background (CMB). This advance, however, has not shed new light on the origins of the CMB, fundamental understanding of the structure of the Universe, or the nature of dark matter and dark energy.

Article Abstract:
Observations of Deep Impact from the European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft, launched on 2 March 2004, which aimed to bring spacecraft into collision with the periodic comet 9P/Tempel 1 on 4 July 2005 is presented. The Rosetta probe observed the Deep Impact encounter using OSIRIS, its Optical, Spectroscopic, and InfraRed Imaging System.

There are only three landers in all, which have made it to the surface of Mars. This includes two Viking craft in 1976 and the Mars pathfinder with its mini-rover in 1997, which was little more than a technology test bed.
