Article Abstract:
The biomass of invertebrates in a common rainforest epiphyte is measured and it is revealed that one large epiphyte may contain an invertebrate biomass similar to that found in the whole of the rest of the tree crown on which it is growing. This data shows that including fauna of these epiphytes can more than double the estimate of the total invertebrate biomass in an entire rainforest canopy.

Article Abstract:
Photoperiodic-specific light signaling in Arabidopsis is essential for Flavin-Binding, Kelch repeat, F-Box (FKF1). The circadian control of FKF1 expression and the light regulation of FKF1 function coincide to control the daytime CO waveform which in turn is crucial for day-length discrimination by Arabidopsis.

Article Abstract:
In rainforests with low climatic seasonality, photoperiodic control is the only reliable mechanism for inducing synchronous flowering. This brings a problem as there is no variation in day length at the Equator.
