Activism that is illegal and also illjudged

Article Abstract:

It is important that environmental campaigners think very carefully before taking illegal action. They should regard illegal action only as a last resort after all legal routes have been exhausted, and need to exercise judgement as well as showing deep commitment to their cause. Companies too need to be aware that going against environmental legislation could cause them considerable difficulties, especially in terms of public relations.

Electrifying potential for activism

Article Abstract:

The information superhighway is a good way for animal activists to organize and keep in touch with developments. A group of Berkeley, CA students did just that by using the Internet's electronic mail service to agitate for the inclusion of vegetarian fare in their school canteen.
