24/7 tech tutuors: take the drudgery out of studying

Computer software programs that are available for helping students study at home are discussed. Five educational reference materials ranging in price from $30 to $100 are evaluated for their reading level, homework help, and visual qualities. Programs that offer concentrated skills support and Internet services that can also help are included.
