Types and designs of rifles available on the market in 2001 are presented. New guns from several gun producers are described, including a short-action gun from Browning, four new guns from the European American Armoury and Baikal and a bolt-action gun from Kimber.

Norinco TU-KKW rifle

The Norinco TU-KKW rifle is manufactured in China by China North Industries. It recreates the look and feel of German smallbore military training rifles based on the 98k Mauser rifle.
