An accomplished hunter guide reminisces about the story of his life running parallel with the story of two young hunters Seth Kantner and Kole who expertly carved out skins while at the same time went to universities and learnt other skills so essential in the modern world. One of his seemingly lesser educated friend, Seth, however, goes on to write a wonderful novel, 'Ordinary Wolves' on the wilds that depicts the wilderness as it really is.
