Article Abstract:

The Sep 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nearly decimated the airline industry, as people stopped flying. The government provided the airlines, which were already losing money, with more money, and many believe the airlines will soon be regulated by the government. Airlines have reduce the number of daily flights and some low-cost airlines have closed.
