Article Abstract:

The Department of Homeland Security warned that hotels in the United States were potential targets for terrorist attacks; travelers were once again concerned for their safety. Many hotels are inspecting vendors entering the hotel as well as searching trucks and vans entering the parking garages, wile some calibrate security to governments color coded warning system, while others are releasing information on security which should make travelers comfortable.

Securing the rails

Article Abstract:

Following the commuter train bombings in Madrid, the government and rail officials around the globe are stepping up rail security in a number of ways. Some of the security measures include additional patrols of stations, railcars and tracks are conducted, and surveillance of key stations and 22,000 miles of tracks via motion sensors.
