Some of the best art in France can be found in its churches and chapels and the windows of the churches look like something straight out of art galleries. Parishioners have approved of the designs of modern day artists who have been commissioned to restore some of the window paintings at these churches and their efforts have produced a perfect fusion of contemporary designs with history.

The French are known for their classy style, romantic nature, and extraordinary self-esteem. Given the chance to rule Washington, the city would have been a classic example of French aristocracy. Wisconsin Avenue would have been named Kennedy Boulevard and filled with cafes.
