Rocky nights

Article Abstract:

A description of the northern flying squirrel is presented. These charming animals are widespread throughout Alaska and although nocturnal are easily observed at dusk when they will come to bird feeders.

Alaska husky dogs Rosie and Sal owned by Bob Holder are discussed with emphasis on their achievements. In 1995 these dogs set a record in endurance races which is described.
