Real defense against domestic violence

Article Abstract:

The National Rifle Assn (NRA) supports the right of women to carry guns. It also supports the classification of domestic violence as a serious felony, thus making it unlawful for abusers to own guns. However, any such legislation must not, in the process, impinge upon gun owners' rights.

Victory report from the states

Article Abstract:

The National Rifle Association (NRA) won a number of key victories in 1995 in its plan to oppose gun control laws at the state and local level. NRA support helped win elections for many politicians as well as help as the passage of some key legislative bills endorsed by the NRA.

An analysis of the effects of H.R. 339, the national right-to-carry reciprocity bill, is presented. If passed by Congress, gun owners will be allowed to carry their guns all over the US.
