Article Abstract:

The Italian architect Renzo Piano who is known for his obsession with light, combining industrial materials with more traditional ones, bridging the gap between old and new and making the line between exterior and interior waver is discussed. His two new buildings namely The Parco della Musica in Rome and The Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas are described.
