The University of Virginia and the University of Maryland, in the United States are the flagship schools of their states, sources of pride for residents and alumni, and engines for their states economies. A study to pick the prettiest campus, the best sports team, the top academics and more is presented for both universities that face changing public attitudes towards higher education.
