Discussion over a proposal to drill for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska has divided citizens and politicians. Pres Bush wants to drill for oil in the region to reduce dependence on imported oil, while conservationists want to preserve the beauty of the region. About 65% of Alaskans support drilling, according to one poll.
