Finns have a reputation for being reserved, stoic people, but that is belied when visiting there in summer, when almost constant daylight brings out a very friendly atmosphere. The country is renowned for its summer music festivals and its charming capital city of Helsinki.

Though Florence is unparalleled for its artistic and architectural splendor, perhaps its most enduring quality is the energy of life there. Maybe due to its design, there is a feeling there that the city itself is alive that cannot be approached anywhere.
