The beautiful seascape of Big Sur, the ninety-mile stretch of coastline between Carmel and San Simeon, is an example of utopia existing in America and it seemed to encourage its freelance philosophers get into the business of hospitality, opening their getaways to guests in order to support endeavors of all stripes. It is described as a pinnacle, of California, which is called paradise by the world.

Beirut unveiled

The Lebanese capital of Beirut is undergoing a renaissance. Heavily damaged during the civil war that lasted into the 1980s, the city is now home to excellent clubs and restaurants as well as major construction sites. Restoration projects are also underway.
