A trip to the Yukon River delta in Alaska was described. Bird-watchers will enjoy this part of Alaska when 150 fowl species return during migrating season. The river wetlands is a haven for several species of birds that need to regain strength before embarking on another flight.

A Gwich'in moose hunt

Article Abstract:

The Gwich'in people of Athabasca near the Arctic Circle have hunted moose and caribou for sustenance as a tradition. Older generations, who pass on the knowledge of hunting to their children, have a strict adherence to tradition on hunting matters.
