A tale of two islands

Article Abstract:

The two islands of Amelia and Cumberland are explored. In Cumberland the icehouse, where blocks of ice, ferried down from New Hampshire each winter, were kept for refrigeration is restored and filled with artifacts and photographs, which is now a Ice House Museum, a preserver of the island's history. The Amelia Island Plantation is a gated community at the island's south end.
