A 'right of the people'

Article Abstract:

The Second Amendment secures a right of individuals, which is the conclusion of an exhaustive memorandum opinion written for the U.S. Attorney General by the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel. The Second Amendment secures a personal right of individuals, not a collective right of individuals that may only be invoked by a State or a quasi-collective right restricted to those persons who serve in organized militia units.

Virginian's First Amendment rights restored

Article Abstract:

US Court of Appeals in the case of Alan Newsom v. Albermarle County School Board ruled that the school's dress code was broad and likely unconstitutional. The School Board was charged with violating Alan Newsom's civil rights when its officials banned him from wearing T-shirt with NRA logo-ed Youth Shooting Sports Camp.

Gun ban fight moves to the States

The way, in which anti-gun politicians ban even the hunting guns by giving them a name of assault weapon, is presented. Anti-gun groups within the American borders are always waiting for opportunity to establish prohibition along with subjecting AmericaEs gun owners to psychological exams.
