Bears command a lot of respect in the wild, and people who come in contact with them have a code of conduct that shows them the proper reverence. Even after one is killed, superstition governs how the carcass is used and how and when the meat is prepared.

A cub named Stony

Article Abstract:

A bear named Stony that had been wandering around eating out of garbage dumps and breaking into cabins had to be tranquilized and relocated. Stony met a sad end when he choked to death and was partially eaten by another bear.
