Striper tournament circuit begins: the American Striper Association brings professional tournaments to East Coast anglers

The American Striper Assn has created a new striped bass fishing tournament circuit in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states. The 2001 Mercury Tournament Trail began in May and ran well into fall. The tournaments offer lucrative prize packages to participants in five divisions.
