Silversea Cruises announced the return of the Silver Shadow ship for its biennial trip to Alaska, while Cruise West's Spirit of Nantucket is added to the company's fleet of Alaska-bound vessels. Other companies such as Seabourn Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Majestic America Line also announced the deployment ships to Alaska. News on other Alaska-bound ships and their new on-land cruise programs are also discussed.
