Themed pubs are now becoming increasingly common in the UK, even though they still attract mixed reactions. Some people regard them as creating a false environment and feel that they endanger the traditional atmosphere of pubs. However, companies which run such establishments believe that they are meeting customer needs. It is becoming increasingly recognised that it is important to offer pubs which cater to a wide range of tastes and which also attract families.

Article Abstract:

The North Wales Film Commission was set up by six unitary authorities with the aim of bringing more film and television companies to the areas. The area has already hosted projects, such as First Knight starring Sean Connery and Richard Gere, and August with Anthony Hopkins. The NWFC works with the British Film Commission and visits trade fairs in Los Angeles, and a Production Guide Book has been published.
