The Harvey Hadden Sports Centre, Nottingham, England opened on Nov 16, 1991. The centre was largely financed through the legacy of a local industrialist. It provides local and international indoor athletics facilities. A ceiling height of up to 10 metres enabled a successful bid to host the World Student Games' volleyball championship in 1993. It also allows full-height indoor pole vaulting. Single level accommodation facilitates access for disabled people.

Clive Nicholls

Article Abstract:

Lego UK executive, Clive Nicholls will oversee the development of Legoland at former Windsor Safari Park, England. Models and leisure attractions will occupy 24 acres. The remaining 142 acres will remain as gardens. The 60 million pound sterling project is largely aimed at children's entertainment and education. The scheme will create 550 full-time or seasonal jobs for the area.
