Wireless appliances are beginning to enter the food services industry, through personal digital assistants (PDAs) used by arena food service vendors to wireless mini-tablet personal computers, used at hostess stations for drink orders and reservations. Another convenience is wireless payment terminals, which allow customers to use debit and credit cards.
