In 'wet areas,' any floor covering must have a high level of slip resistance, and ceramic tiles or sheet PVC and rubbers are usually the most popular for these situations. Specifiers should be aware that the choice of floor finish can greatly influence the types of events which are held in a leisure facility, especially an indoor sports hall.
