David Lee's career as a chef is discussed. Lee, together with Yannick Bigourdan, took over Splendido, a restaurant near the University of Toronto, in September 2001. As a chef, Lee does not usually practice fusion of several ingredients, since he wants to preserve food flavors. He also makes it a point to know the sources of his ingredients.
