Article Abstract:

Theme parks have seen the greatest growth in South America and Asia, with China offering huge potential for leisure developement. The Chinese population now have more leisure time and there is a growing underground economy generating more disposable income. They are seeking more active Western-style parks, however projects need to be designed and planned in consideration of the Chinese mentality and economy.
