The Darling Harbour area of Sydney, Australia, currently attracts 13 million people a year, and this is likely to rise with the Olympic Games, according to Graham Kwan, design director of design consultancy Attractions International. The area includes the Maritime Museum, the Sydney Aquarium and the Powerhouse Museum, and brings together retail and entertainment in the 20,000 sq mt Darling Walk. This includes two themed restaurants, entertainment-based retail stores in five themed areas and a 10,000 sq mt Sega World.
