Simulator technological advances have encouraged individual home use.In response group simulators have developed visual technology although movement and smell are sometimes incorporated. Home simulators allow individual control although visuals are less refined. Greatest advance has been in electronically created images which will continue the trend to home use. Article Abstract:
Quality of film will determine the future of the large-format film industry. In 1992 the only UK large-format film theatre is at Bradford National Museum of Photography, England. Howver, the high quality of 'The Rolling Stones at the Max' and other films released in 1991 should encourage the establishment of other large-format theatres. Projector systems may be for 1570 or 870 format. However, films in 870 format are currently limited.
