Cornelia Volino-Patterson

Article Abstract:

Cornelia Volino-Patterson, president of the Canadian Federation of Chefs and Cooks since 1998, has been elected as continental director of the Americas at the World Assoc of Cooks Societies (WACS). Volino-Patterson is the first woman ever to be elected to the WACS board of directors. She is also a partner in Mediterra, a posh restaurant in Toronto specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. She believes that it is important for chefs to explore tastes that they are unfamiliar with.
