All hail King Arthur

In its drive to promote Britain as a tourist destination, the tourism organization VisitBritain is using unconventional mediums. The organization has tied up with Touchstone Pictures to co - promote with the movie King Arthur. A study shows that one fifth of all tourists visit Britain are inspired by something they have seen on television or in the movies.

VisitBritain is aiming to launch a short breaks campaign in European countries, which would drive consumers to VisitBritain's contact centers across Europe for the information they need. A brochure is produced along with a booklet of special offers and great deals, complemented by a new look for the website.

Discover Business Britain

Article Abstract:

Britain has a lot to offer both the business and leisure tourists. To give a further boost to business tourism, a major tourism event - Discovery, is being organized by VisitBritain, in Cardiff, from October 22-24, 2004.
