Article Abstract:

Waterparks have been attracting large numbers of visitors recently, and those in North America are expecting to have seen more than 50 million visitors by the end of the 1995 season. Most find that extensive theming is required if a really effective atmosphere is to be created. However, some industry observers are warning that theming should not be allowed to become more important than the attraction itself.

It's a wild world!

Article Abstract:

Many resort developments across the world are including waterparks with innovative features. Some waterparks aim to include a range of sea life, while others have mock coral reefs and others exciting rides. Some observers feel that this will be a key trend in the future, with waterparks possibly having little potential as a standalone development. Changing trends in taking holidays mean that some developers are now looking to indoor water parks, especially in countries where the weather is unreliable.
