Mmmuffins Canada Corp is conducting makeovers at both michel's baguette and mmmuffins bakery cafe and stores across Canada. Executives headed by president Gail Galea have decided that the concept needed to further evolve and a redesign is a must for the old and dated stores. Michel's baguette, has repositioned itself from a French bakery cafe to a neighborhood meeting place which required some menu reengineering. The company is also strategically expanding its units and is planning to open 10 michel's baguettes annually until 2005.
