A sporting chance

Article Abstract:

The government in the Uk has been attempting to provide extra resources for high level sport over the past two years, but its attempts have been criticised for divorcing schools and high level sport from the rest of the Sport for All concept, not encouraging local authorities and destroying Regional Councils for Sport and Recreation. Article Abstract:

From May 1990 to October 1992 three cooperative ventures were established in Leicestershire, Devon and the North West of England.
