MGM Mirage, the US hotel and gaming resort operator acquired London-based casino and dog-track operator, Wembley for a cash deal worth 270 million pounds sterling. The Wembley directors have agreed for this deal but the deal was conditional upon Lincoln Park Reorganisation.

Government fulfils licensing laws pledge

The Licensing Bill was approved by both the houses of parliament which supported the governments promise to provide flexible pub licensing hours. The important points in the bill included flexible opening hours and measures to tackle alcohol related crime and disorder.
