21 million pound sterling expansion plans for Cannons

Article Abstract:

Cannon, the health and fitness club operator is expected to open nine new sites in 2004 in four target areas of London and the south, the M4 and the Midlands. The expansion plans involve a total investment of 21 million pound sterling and the new openings would increase Cannon's UK estate to 53 clubs.

Pounds sterling 300m Whitbread plans: Whitbread reveals restaurant site expansion plans

Article Abstract:

A new expansion programme worth pounds sterling 300m was revealed by Whitbread to achieve growth within its restaurant brands over next five years. Many of the new Brewers Fyre and Brewsters sites are supposed to be developed alongside Whitbread's Travel Inn hotel business.

RNIB hotels for blind to close

Article Abstract:

The Royal National Institute of the Blind has decided to close its two restaurants for blinds, which the institute was running for past 30 years. The reason for the closure is the reduction in the number of the guests in the hotels.
