21 million pound sterling expansion plans for Cannons

Article Abstract:

Cannon, the health and fitness club operator is expected to open nine new sites in 2004 in four target areas of London and the south, the M4 and the Midlands. The expansion plans involve a total investment of 21 million pound sterling and the new openings would increase Cannon's UK estate to 53 clubs.

FIA announced Commit to Get Fit awards

Two fitness clubs, London Borough of Hillington and Thanet Leisureforce were awarded the Commit to Get Fit campaign awards by Fitness Industry Association (FIA). The campaign was aimed at raising charity funds for nominated charity Diabetes UK.
