Ferry operator Attica Enterprises of Greece has upgraded its services with improvements on its two new roros, "Superfast III and Superfast V." The new vessels will be faster and feature improved bow and stern loading systems. Other Mediterranean operators such as Grimaldi Group of Genoa, which plies the routes between Sardinia and Palermo, have expanded service routes and have added new vessels to their fleets. Ferrimaroc has bought a 22.5 knot ship with a passenger capacity of 2,300 as support for its service routes in Almeria, Spain and Nador, Morocco.
