SAFEDOR u Design, Operation and Regulation for Safety, is a project aimed to increase safety through innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of the European maritime industry. The objectives of the project have been listed and can be achieved by following the risk-based design methodology that integrates risk analysis in the design process alongside standard design objectives to get a best possible solution.
