Richard Woolley, public manager for Cathelco, explains how the companyEs pipework anti-fouling systems help in dealing with growth of barnacles and mussels in engine cooling systems. If not removed, the growth could cause blockages leading to overheating as well as higher consumption of fuel.

An unconventional docking challenge

Article Abstract:

The paddle steamer, built in 1947, needed lot of repairing and up gradation. A work program scheduled to renovate the steamer was completed successfully that has increased the steamer's efficiency for another 10-15 years.
