Article Abstract:

The Transas Group joined a partnership, the Non-Commercial Partnership for Northern Sea Route Usage Coordination, which shares technologies to manage shipping safety and train seafarers that go through the sensitive route. The new module that Transas has added to its NTPro 4000 bridge simulator to assist in the training regarding navigation within sea ice vicinity is discussed.
