Waterproof your maps

Article Abstract:

There are several different products that backpackers can use to keep maps dry. Four protective cases, a product called MapSeal, and a plastic baggie were field tested as well as submerged in a bathtub for four hours. They all performed relatively well, but the $13 SunDog Map Case was a standout.
