The JD Harley is a famous collector's item which was developed by Harley Davidson in 1929. The JD was the only Harley model to feature dual headlights as well as the Intake Over Exhaust engine. The JD can be fitted with an aerodynamic sidecar which is manufactured by Goulding.

The short, sad history of the Hendee Special

Article Abstract:

Indian Motorcycle Company Ltd. introduced the first motorcycle featuring electric starters and rear suspensions in 1914. Called the Hendee Special, the motorcycle did not become popular because of several technical problems.

The Miller mystery

Harry Miller became a legend because of his supercharged racing cars. However, an antique motorcycle discovered in a wooden gas station in rural Maine shows that he built one such vehicle in the early 1900s.
