Article Abstract:
This study investigates the nutritional status and eating habits of flatwater paddlers from the Spanish National Team during a week of intense training. Results indicate that dietary fat and protein intake exceeded recommended levels, but there were no significant effects on the athletes' blood lipid levels.

This article examines the effects of diet and aerobic exercise on lipoproteins and blood lipids in trained men. Results indicate that diet composition had no effect on lipid response, but one exercise session decreased total cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol.
