Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to validate the combined use of inclinometers and accelerometers to measure body posture and movement in prepubescent children in a laboratory setting. Results show that sedentary behavior can be measured using two inclinometers instead of four, and that this monitoring system could be useful for measuring energy expenditure, body posture, and physical activity in children.
